I’m going to be Harry Potter for Halloween, and and can’t for the life of me find a replica wand. i’ve been told by many people that i look like him… and i want to wow everyone with the end product. i’m also having trouble finding a robe. were do i find this good quality hollywood stuff? places like wal mart and target have cheap looking stuff, that fits oddly on me.
Thanks a million!

The Noble collection has replica wands of the trio, and alivan’s and whimsical alley has some great robes :) (dont forget the tie, robe, etc.)
i was able to find the gryffindor patch on ebay, but in the movies the uniform changes slightly so it depends on which year harry you want to be lol
go gryffindor!!

The best replica wants are from Alivan’s (http://www.alivans.com/welcome.htm). I think they also have a line of wizard wear. Check them out.

Go to the official Harry Potter website by Warner Brothers, they have a gift shop there where you can get the wand, your robe, etc. You know, a quick & easy wand is actually from a tree branch. Cut one to the size you want. If you want the decent robe, go to Wal-Mart in the craft section. Open the Simplicity pattern book to costumes, you will find robes there. Choose the pattern you want. Get the amount of matterial it takes to make it. Find someone with a sewing machine to make it for you. They ought to be able to knock out a robe for you in a couple of hours. It may sound like work, but it will be a lot cheaper on your wallet.

To find really high quality costumes you have to go to a store that specializes in costumes. You could order one online, but you might end up disappointed by the quality of it when it comes in the mail. You can try to do a local shopping search in your area with yahoo, try to find some costume or Halloween stores. You can call the stores and ask if they carry Harry Potter costumes.

    Try http://www.harrypottermerchandise.net
I’ve seen the replica wands on there and high quality robes before. The products are updated daily so there’s always something new. You’ll save money too. Much cheaper than ordering from the WB shop.
